HARTO X EXPANDED

IMMUTABLE MEMORIES by Harto innovatively combines traditional drawing techniques with advanced robotic technology to create multi-layered artworks. Using the Idraw Pen Plotter H Version A3, it layers various artistic materials on a single sheet to produce complex, textured visual compositions. This art initiative serves as a retrospective exploration, delving into the simplicity and essence of the artist’s early experiences with painting during childhood. Each plotter is a blend of various media, including markers, watercolor, crayons, and technical pens.

Part of the group exhibition THE PATH TO THE PRESENT, 1954–2024. On view at EXPANDED.ART in Berlin from 2 July – 10 August 2024.
